Biography :
Growing up in the Bay Area gave me a unique exposure to real estate in the 80’s and 90’s. I earned my first real estate license in 2002, entering the market eager and naïve. Having struggled through the dot-com bust, I moved with many other Californians to Idaho where the tech industry was growing. This new environment gave me an opportunity to work in new construction; honing skills in outreach marketing, door- knocking and direct mail farming.
A few years after the move, Idaho suffered the same exodus with the mortgage market implode. A military move took my family to North Carolina in 2008 where I focused efforts on creating options for families much like my own. Military families often receive less than 30 days to transition, to areas that they know little about. Based on both my own experience and partnering with hundreds of families, I’ve learned that many are flexible and accommodating with one exception: price range.
Relocating to Northern Virginia in 2011 gave me a first hand experience at the options that our area offers. Homes from $100,000 to well over $1M require compromises to size, condition and location; to schools, commutes and amenities. In order to best represent my seller clients, we must meet the needs of our buyers – whom we know are overwhelmed by the inventory. For this reason, I employ out-of-the-box tactics to set you apart from the competition. In a hyperlocal market, my eyes and ears are tuned to the inventory at every given moment.
